After having had the honour to be represented by the CAMERA WORK gallery twice already, we are thrilled to announce that the work from the Homage To Humanity book will be displayed in this Berlin venue from 5 to 15 September 2018, with a book signing on the 8th.
CAMERA WORK gallery specializes in contemporary photography and vintage masterworks since its founding in 1997. It is their aim to show the development of photo-art from its inception to the present by presenting classical icons such as Diane Arbus, Richard Avedon, Helmut Newton, Irving Penn or Man Ray. Even though the emphasis of the exhibited works is on nude-, portraiture- and fashion photography, the spectrum of photographs also encompasses the genres of landscape, architecture and still life. Nowadays, photography is increasingly influential in contemporary art and contributes to blurring the boundaries between different artistic mediums. CAMERA WORK regularly joins the world’s most important fairs for photo art, Paris Photo and Photo London, Photofairs Shanghai and Photofairs San Francisco among them. In 2011, CAMERA WORK was selected as one of the ten most influential and prestigious galleries worldwide. In order to focus even more on contemporary photography, CAMERA WORK opened a second gallery in Berlin, named CWC GALLERY, in 2012.
