Loft 11 Gallery presents We Are Seen, an exhibition that brings together works by Jimmy Nelson, Terry O’Neill, Elliott Erwitt, Michael Joseph and Ed Caraeff in an unexpected dialogue about identity and self-expression.

From Indigenous communities in Papua New Guinea to iconic moments in pop and rock history, the exhibition explores the many ways people choose to be seen; through tradition and ritual, through performance and role, through rebellion and reinvention. Monumental group portraits stand alongside intimate, humorous and radical images, revealing identity not as a fixed state, but as something continuously shaped and reimagined.

We Are Seen invites visitors to look beyond differences and consider what connects us: the human desire to belong, to express, and to define ourselves, whether collectively or individually.
