In 2022, The Last Sentinels filled the walls of Fabrique des Lumières in Amsterdam. This October, the work returns in a new form, under a new name: Mirrors of Humanity.

Floor to ceiling, surrounded by music, the faces of people from communities across the world appear at a scale that asks you to slow down. To stay. To look a little longer than you normally would.

Mirrors of Humanity is not only about looking outward. Every face that appears invites a quiet question in return: what do you see of yourself? The dignity, the pride, the presence of another person becomes a reflection of our own. Because before we can truly see someone else, we first have to be willing to see ourselves.
