The desert and mountain landscapes of Kenya are home to many different communities including the Samburu who are known for their strong warriorhood. As warriors, they will defend their people from attacks from other communities and animals. Samburu boys are taught how to hunt and tend cattle from a very young age. Their way of life revolves around cattle; they herd sheep, goats and camels who can endure the extreme heat of the day.
